We held a really interesting and topical meeting “Genomics and Chemical Space: a new locus for drug discovery” last Friday, October 12th 2007.
This meeting dealt with the concepts of ‘biological space’ – structural genomics and computation – and ‘chemical space’ – identifying fragments and how they interact and how these may be exploited to identify potential drug targets and drug molecules.
The meeting was well received by the delegates who were satisfied with the meeting and would definitely consider coming to this meeting again.
Many thanks to everyone who participated in this meeting, especially the speakers and the chair, Professor Sir Tom Blundell of Cambridge University.
Please do feel free to add your comments if you were at this event (or if you did not attend, let us know what you would like from this sort of meeting).
